Is MSiReader free?

MSiReader Basic is free; MSiReader Professional has subscription fee. For a comparison of features in the Basic vs. Pro versions, see here.

How do I get the free trial?

Simply download and install the MSiReader program from here. No information or payment is requested - the process is entirely anonymous. 

When you first install MSiReader, the 15-day trial automatically starts. During this trial period all program features, including all the Pro features, are available for free usage. 

What happens when the free trial ends?

When you first install MSiReader, a 15-day trial automatically starts. During the trial period all program features, including Pro features, are available for free usage. 

When the trial period ends, your MSiReader program will automatically revert to Basic mode, in which the Pro features are disabled.

How do I get a Pro license?

In the free Basic mode, some MSiReader analysis tools are locked and cannot be accessed. To use these features, you will need to purchase a Pro license.
Purchasing any product listed on the Products page will grant you a Pro license that unlocks all MSiReader features for the duration of your purchased license.

Can I get a bulk-purchase discount?

Definitely - The more licenses you purchase in a single order, the larger the discount. The discount amount is automatically set when you update the number of licenses in your shopping cart (click the "Update Cart" button to see the discounted cost). In other words, there's no need to contact us to get the discount - it is applied automatically to your shopping cart.


Important: the bulk discount is calculated separately for each shopping cart product, ignoring any licenses purchased in previous orders. To maximize your discount, ensure that you purchase all your licenses in a single order, and preferably with the same duration (different license durations are considered different products).

Do I need to pay a sales tax?

No tax is charged if your address is outside North Carolina, USA. 


If you have a North Carolina address, a 4.75% state tax plus 2% county tax are charged and added to the purchase total. You will see these taxes in your shopping cart page and in the checkout page, as well as in your purchase confirmation email. If you are eligible for tax exemption (e.g. a federal entity, academic institution etc.), you can apply for tax exemption via the Tax Exemption area of the My Account section of this website.

Where can I manage my purchased licenses?

You can view and manage your purchases and licenses at any time via the My Account section of this website.

Please feel free to contact us (support@msireader.com) if you encounter any difficulty or have a question that cannot be resolved online.

What happens when the license term ends?

When a MSiReader Pro license expires, then:

    • If you have paid with a credit/debit card and have not disabled auto-renewal in the My Account section of this website, your card will automatically be charged the renewal fee. You will be sent a confirmation email with a payment receipt and updated license key, so you can continue to use MSiReader Pro uninterrupted.
    • If you have disabled auto-renewal, or if you paid for you license using a different payment method (e.g., check or bank transfer), then your license will not automatically renew. You will be sent an email with a renewal invoice, which you will need to pay to continue using the Pro features of MSiReader.

 

Until your renewal payment is accepted, you will be able to continue using the MSiReader program, but only in Basic mode - the Pro features will be locked and you will not be able to use them. 

Can I cancel a license? Will I get a refund?

You can cancel your license at any time via the Subscriptions area of the My Account section in this website. Once you cancel your subscription, you may contact us (support@msireader.com) to request a refund. Read our Refunds Policy for details about refund eligibility and calculation.

Can you train our team in MSiReader usage?

Can you add a specific product feature?

We love hearing user feedbacks. Please contact us (support@msireader.com) with ideas for new features and product improvements. We will review your feedback and consider implementing it in a future release of MSiReader. If you need the feature immediately, you may ask us to implement it for a dedicated consulting fee.
